Your entry and participation
- The right of withdrawal does not apply to sporting events.
Your entry fee is non-refundable.
(We recommend Startklar insurance – available as an option while entering – to cover you in the event of illness, injury, pregnancy, etc.)
- Deferrals for future editions are not permitted
- You may not participate in our races using someone else’s name.
- All participants enter our races at your own risk.
- We do not cover loss or damage to property.
- You have the option to sell your entry. Read more on the page: Exchanging your entry.
- Refunds will not be given in the event of a shortened, amended, or cancelled race due to safety-threatening weather conditions.
- Force majeure: Refunds will not be given if a race is cancelled due to conditions beyond our control, such as fires, flooding, a natural disaster, labour dispute, war, terrorist attack, earthquake, the authority’s decision, the spread of a virus or other diseases, or any similar event.
- The organizer reserves the right to make adjustments to the course, format and content, including changing the date.
- The organizer reserves the right to prevent participants from completing the race if it’s in the athlete’s best interests for health and safety reasons.
- If you lose your timing chip, you will be required to replace it (cost 500 SEK).
Personal details
- We use and store your personal data in accordance with the data protection regulation GDPR in order to administer your entry and manage your results.
- Your personal data – such as name, address, results, and appearance in photographs and moving images taken at the races – may be published on the internet, in the media, in printed PR material and other publications relating to Fjällmaraton.
- Your result – including name, birthday, nationality, and athletics club – may be shared with other organizations that have statistics, rankings or scoring systems such as Spartan, ITRA, DUV or UTMB.
- As a participant, your personal data may be processed through targeted mailings from Fjällmaraton.
- Your name and start number may also be shown publically relating to Fjällmaraton.
- You have the right to request that your name is not published online in our start lists and results, nor used in any other public contexts.
- You have the right to request the correction of incorrect personal data and to revoke your given consent.
